Deleting your account
What the Danger zone does and how to delete your account for good.

If you ever need to leave, account deletion lives in Settings under Danger. It is kept in its own section on purpose, because deleting your account is permanent and removes your data.
How it works
- Open Settings and go to Danger.
- Tick the confirmation checkbox to show you understand it cannot be undone.
- Enter your password to confirm it is really you.
Before you delete
If you are the owner of a team workspace, sort the workspace out first. Deleting your account while you are the owner can leave your teammates without access, so transfer ownership to someone else or wind the workspace down before you go. Once that is handled, deleting your own account is clean and immediate.
If you are only trying to step away for a while, you do not have to delete anything. You can simply sign out, and your data and workspaces will be waiting when you come back.
